Facilities Available:
The department has received grants of
Rs.13.5 lakhs from the UGC under Innovative Programme for a special
paper on
“Stochastic Finance” for five years
starting from the academic year 2008-09. The department has a well
equipped Computer Laboratory, set up with financial support from the
UGC. The Computer Laboratory has an IBM X 235 Server with Windows
2000 platform. The networking includes 10 Thin Clients, 13 Desktops,
printing facilities, like DMP and Laserprinter . In order to train
students to solve statistical problems C++, SPSS, ORACLE, MATLAB,
EXCEL etc. are provided.
