Course Intake Duration Eligibility
M.S.W General Merit – 30 and Partially Self Financing Category - 15

Over and above the intake, three extra seats are reserved as follows:

1. Defense Personnel/ Ex-Serviceman-1
2. Physically Handicapped -1
3. N.C.C/N.S.S/Sports Persons-1

 

Two Years (4 Semesters)
M.S.W Candidates shall have passed any bachelor degree examination of Mangalore University or any other  university considered as  equivalent thereto  are eligible for the programme provided they have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/ Category – I  candidates) marks in optionals. Selection to the programme is based on the marks secured in the degree programme and in the entrance examination to be conducted by the University/College as per Government order issued from time to time.
Doctoral
Ph.D. As per University Regulation Minimum Two/Three Years and maximum five/six years for full-time /part-time research respectively. Second class Master's degree (with not less than 55% Marks) in the relevant subject from Mangalore University or any other University recognized by Mangalore University as equivalent.
