M.Sc.	26 + 3	Two Years	Eligibility For Admission: Candidates shall have studied Microbiology or Botany or Zoology as major / optional / special subjects with Chemistry /Biochemistry as major / optional /Special / minor /Subsidiary subject at undergraduate level. Eligibility Certificate: Candidates who have obtained their qualifying degree from Universities outside Karnataka state have to produce an Elidibility Certificate issued by the Registrar,Mangalore university at the time of admission. Migration Certificate/Transfer Certificate: Candidates admitted to the M.Sc. course will have to produce a Migration Certificate issued by the University and Transfer Certificate issued by the College where they last studied.
Ph.D.	As per University Regulation	Minimum Three for full time research	Second class Master’s degree with not less than 55% in the subject / allied subject. Selection through entrance examination.
