The
Department has procured major equipment like Shimadzu FTIR-8700
Infrared spectrophotometer, Shimadzu 2550, UV-visible
Spectrophotometer and CHNS Analyser besides a number of indigenous
instruments for its research needs. The Department will be
shortly procuring a GC-MS also. The department has great potential
for expansion, particularly because of large scale investment in
Greater Mangalore on Chemical Industries.
