B. Sc.  With  Biochemistry/  Chemistry as optional / Major/ Special subject and any two of the following  subjects- Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology,  Pharmocognosy and  Chemistry as optional and / Major/ minor/ subsidiary subjects with not less than 45%  (40% for SC and ST candidates) Marks in cognate subjects.

Candidates who obtained degree from universities outside Karnataka state have to produce an eligibility certificate issued by the Mangalore University at the time of admission.

Migration / Transfer Certificate issued by the college (where they studied for their degree) have to be produced   at the time of admission.
