Student Welfare
The DSW is primarily a statutory office working for the welfare of students of the campus. It encourages and monitors the extra curricular activities of the students. The DSW is committeed to the spirit of unity and integrity of the students
It was started along with the university but managed initially under the Administrative Officer. From the year 1992 onwards the centre was organised under a Director.
Students' Achievements
The centre has been encouraging the students to showcase their talent at all levels. Our students have emerged as champions both at the State and National level cultural competitions in the academic year 2014-15.
Prior to this, our students have regularly won prizes both at the State & National Level Cultural Competitions, especially in the year 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 . Mangalore University team was adjudged the champions in these years.
